The MCNA Summer STEAM Experience is designed for rising 6th–10th grade students in the South Metro Atlanta area who are curious about technology, engineering, creativity, and innovation.
This experience is especially powerful for students who:
Want hands-on exposure to computer science, engineering, and AI
Enjoy building, designing, performing, or solving problems
Are interested in exploring future career pathways
Thrive in collaborative, team-based environments
No prior experience in coding or engineering is required—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to learn.

The Summer STEAM Experience is a hands-on, immersive learning program that introduces students to the core elements of M. C. North Academy’s academic model through exposure, experience, and reflection.
Students will:
Visit corporations and organizations across Metro Atlanta that utilize computer science, engineering, and AI
Engage in real-world problem-solving challenges
Work in collaborative teams to design and present solutions
Integrate performing arts to enhance creativity and storytelling
This is not a traditional camp. It is a pilot of MCNA’s Global Design Lab approach, where learning is interdisciplinary, innovative, and connected to the real world.

The MCNA Inaugural Summer STEAM Experience will take place July 13–17, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
This week-long immersive program is designed to give students focused, hands-on exposure to STEAM innovation in a structured and supportive environment. Each full day allows time for industry engagement, collaborative design challenges, creative integration, and meaningful reflection—ensuring students gain both depth and inspiration from the experience.
Additional details regarding location, transportation, and daily logistics will be shared with registered families prior to the start of the program.
